Where is our data processed?
Your documents and their search index stay on your firm's computers. When you ask a question, only the passages needed to answer it are sent over an encrypted connection to open-weight models running on hardware operated by JMNI Labs. No third-party AI provider is involved.
Do you keep our data or train on it?
No. Requests are processed and discarded — we don't store prompts, passages, or answers, and we never use customer data to train models. That commitment is written into our customer agreement.
How does Ward fit our confidentiality obligations?
That judgment belongs to your firm, and we'll help you make it. We provide a written overview of how Ward handles data, answer your security questionnaire, and put our data-handling terms in the contract — the kind of diligence ABA Formal Opinion 512 describes.
Do we need to buy hardware?
No. Ward runs on the computers your firm already uses. Local mode, planned for later, is an option for firms that want to run the model on their own machine.
We handle medical records. Is Ward right for us?
Yes — records review for personal-injury and medical-malpractice matters is one of the first workflows we're building. Ward is designed for law firms; we aren't offering it to healthcare providers at this time.
Will it replace our attorneys or paralegals?
No. Ward drafts, summarizes, and finds — and shows its sources so a professional can check the work. Judgment stays with your people.
